Lotus' and Aloe's Hearth's Warming 'Present'

"Hey Lotus! Lookie! Vera sent us a present. Let's open it right now!!

"Okay. Why it's...us?"

"But...why are we knocked over--oh no. Um, Lotus? Let's just, uh, forget about this, shall we? Heh heh, please?"

"Look, there's a note:

'Dear Beloved LITTLE Sisters,
         I was walking through Canterlot the other day when I ran into a lovely pony. And wouldn't you know it? She had the most adorable little figures of you two and me. I was so surprised that I just had to ask her where she found such a lovely gift. She said she bought them in Ponyville, from you two no less. I must say, it hurts your BIG sister's feelings that you wouldn't tell her about such a venture, Aloe. Needless to say, I didn't forget about my dear little sisters and got them their own set of figures. The pony was more than willing to part with them after some persuasion. I would have hoof-delivered them myself, but I'm terribly busy at the moment. But I'll see you both very soon. Very. Soon.

"Aloe, what did you do? You said you got Vera's permission when we were selling these. Do you know what she's going to do to us when she gets here?"

"...Yes. We're not going to be able to walk straight for a week."

"A week? Aloe, we'll be lucky if we can ever walk straight again!"

"I know. This is all your fault. Why didn't you make sure I sent the letter?"

"My fault? Oh no, you're not pinning this one on me. Vera knows it was you. It says so in the letter."

"I know. What are we gonna do? Waaaaahhh!"


I like to think of Vera as that cooler older sibling in the cartoons. You know, the one you never get to see but always hear stories about and the younger sibling(s) want to be just like her? Like how Eddy always talked about his older brother in Ed Edd n Eddy (except Vera's not a jerk).
